Singer-Writer and Actor-Director Pete Reid comes to Dane Certificate’s for the first three Tuesdays in December to share his Songs From The Edge Of The World. A collection of new songs and interpretations that’s a tribute to those who live ‘on the edge’.
Best know for music with his band The Tar Gang, Pete takes his audience on a journey to the edge that is at times funny, dark, weird, melancholic, beautiful and even frightening. The music is highly eclectic, ranging in style from lonesome country, to dirty blues, folk and alternate rock and roll. Between songs he tells intriguing anecdotes, and sets the mood with slide projection and animation, his persona like a cross between some archetypal troubadour and David Attenborough. He will be joined each evening by special guests.
